Express Recovery: What Is It?

Express Recovery is new exciting technology for instant recovery Word and Excel documents protected with a password to open. Express Recovery is a further development of our Guaranteed Recovery developed by our company in 1999. Guaranteed Recovery takes a few days to recover a password regardless of its length. Express Recovery does the same just within a minute.

Guaranteed Recovery Features

	Using Express Recovery, you NEEDN'T recover a password. Using this feature, you can REMOVE a password at all!
	Express Recovery takes only a minute.
	Express Recovery is subject to availability. Normally you should expect it available during regular business hours. If Express Recovery is not available at the moment, your document will be queued and recovered within 36 hours.
	Password recovery is performed in touch with our datacenter, so Internet connection is required. However your document will NOT be sent over the Internet! See privacy statement below.
	If you have several password-protected files (even with exactly the same password), you have to process each file individually (because each password-protected Word/Excel document has unique random signature that affects recovery process).
	Express Recovery is applicable to opening-access password only, other password types are recovered instantly even without Express Recovery.
	You pay for password recovery on per document basis.
	Recovery service must be pre-paid. We cannot start the recovery process if you have no voucher on your account.

Privacy issues
The software has to pass a fragment of your Word or Excel document to our server to enable us to recover the document. We consider privacy issues very seriously and do our best to protect your privacy. Only a small part (about 50 bytes) of your Word or Excel document will be sent to the server. This part does NOT contain actual document contents or any other private information. All transferred information is encrypted with a strong encryption algorithm.

Note on Office XP, 2003
You can use Express Recovery to recover Office XP, 2003 documents if only they were saved in default (Office 97/2000 compatible) encryption mode. If document has been saved in advanced encryption mode, Express Recovery will not work.
